Focus Magazine
Introduction
FOCUS magazine is a mock publication at the forefront of the fashion and arts discourse, informed and targeted towards a hispanic audience. With articles ranging from fashion and beauty, to music and arts, the magazine dives into these aspects through a critical lens, uniting the present with the past; as it tagline goes: Bringing what matters into focus.
Objectives
Develop a holistic visual direction that channels the publication's voice, while engaging its target audience with thoughtful visual choices founded on its cultural heritage and popular discourse.
My Role
I developed its creative direction, paying attention to typographic systems, photography styles, logo design, and layout. Throughout, my goal was to create compositions that served the stories, while being engaging for a variety of audiences.
